Audio Research is please to announce that the RefCD9 CD player is being upgraded to new and imporved RefCD9Se model. The new model will feature completely redesigned and attractive faceplates (with new style handles) that more closely match the current Foundation and Reference components as well as the latest USB audio card that provides compatability with macOS, Windows, Aurender and any Linux-based system that supports ALSA devices.

The new USB audio circuit offers a state-of-the-art FPGA design that re-clocks data and formats appropriately so that firmware updates are not required.

• SPDIF (RCA), TOSlink, AES/EBU (XLR) and USB 2.0 digital audio inputs

• MacOS, Window, Linux compatability for USB 2.0 digital audio input (works with Aurender and other streamers)
