Advance Paris X-A160 Evo Power Amplifier

The X-A160EVO is constituted of an ultra rigid partitioned chassis, ensuring efficient insulation. Components are carefully chosen and selected. The high power toroidal transformer (800 VA) is linked  to a high current bipolar power transistors assembly, which gives X-A160EVO awesome performance. Indeed, X-A160EVO produces an output of 160 W per channel in class AB, a commutator “High Bias“ enables to commute the amplifier in sliding class A on the first watts. Beyond this limit, the amplifier commutes automatically in class AB. Used in Hi-Fi or linked in a Home Cinema, it is never faulted in terms of output and dynamics, showing balance and moderation. It will enable everyone to enjoy an exceptional quality of music. In the rear panel, you will f ind a switch that permits to light off or on the vu-meters. Two stereo plugs balanced or unbalanced allow X-A160EVO to be connected to any preamplifier.

Combined with the X-P700 preamplifier, the X-A160EVO, this amplifier and separate preamp will form a duet winner. Advance’s work to stand out relates, among other things, to the essential quality of the linear power supply, starting with the high-power toroidal transformer associated with a filtering composed of 4 capacitors of 10,000 μF / 80 V. The internal structure is based on compartments, ensuring mechanical rigidity and galvanic shielding of the various components, starting with the 700VA toroidal transformer.

The X-A160EVO delivers 160 W per channel in class AB*, a switch on the back of the device allows the X-A160EVO to deliver the first Watts in class A*. Beyond this power, switching to class AB** is done automatically.
