The new 212/SX has improved the performance and design of the 212/SE to take advantage of the latest technologies and craftsmanship of REL engineers. It is faster, more controlled and quieter, resulting in finer details compared to the original. The new 212/SX is a stockist product only.

The new 212/SX design is slimmer, deeper and taller which results in finer control of the backwave within the cabinet. The use of carbon fibre blades on the rear of each driver helps to create an impressive and dynamic sound.

Additionally, the 212/SX is fitted with PerfectFilter™ developed for the latest Serie S to extend and flatten the extremely low bass. This optimises the way the extreme upper bass transitions into air and improves the holographic detail in the speaker’s soundstage.
